Lyrical Classes

 

This style of dance is a fluid combination of Ballet and Jazz technique.  Though generally smoother and a bit faster than ballet, it is not quite as fast as Jazz.  

 

Powerful, expressive songs are often used in our lyrical classes to give students a chance to express a range of strong emotions such as such as love, joy, and anger through their dancing.  

 

Lyrical is more expressive in nature, relating to the spirit, nature and freedom of the individual dancer.  Lyrical is a favourite among serious dancers.
